Comment: I think that going back to this particular time would be fascinating and to be a part of Georgia history.  It is nice your family has history already in this time, but it is nice you think of what they could have strive to be if only they presented themselves in the area of government.

Comment: It is nice that you pointed out that men can use it too. Surprisingly more men in the UK use Pinterest than women do. Funny how in America it is vise versa. I only have one guy that follows me on Pinterest but i would follow men on Pinterest to just get perspective of the things they like.

Do you see PR value in Pinterest? Please describe why/why not.  I very much see PR value in Pinterest.  Pinterest is a great opportunity to not have to use cookies to find what potential  publics like so PR professionals can target them. On Pinterest you just type in what you are searching for and it will bring up people who find that particular item of interest and then PR professionals can began to build a strategy plan to connect and engage with such publics.

Do you think it is a fad that will be here today and gone in a few months? I think as much attention it has gotten from PR Daily alone is to let everyone know that Pinterest is not going anywhere anytime soon, especially since it is still in beta stage and invite only. Wasn’t Facebook similar in how it started? And Facebook looks to be around longer than I will. I believe Pinterest will give Facebook a run for its money once it is out of beta stage.

Do you have your own Pinterest account? I do have a Pinterest account, pretty. How often do you use it, repin or like items, etc.? I am on Pinterest almost every day.  It doesn’t help I have an app on my phone. I pin original stuff to my boards, I also repin from others boards and try to comment as much as possible.

Would you recommend Pinterest to others (friends, co-workers, etc.)?  Yes! I was actually recommending Pinterest to a co-worker on Monday before I saw that our TOW was Pinterest.  I always tell people I will be happy to invite them if they want me to, so they too can join in the madness.

It is asked, If there was any type of change in any event while in time travel would I feel it would effect history.  I would and I would only use time travel for the sole purpose to observe a time that is interesting to me, but would not go back to alter its existence in the possibility that my present changes its course of events.

Best gift for Valentine’s Day was a Dream a Little Dream DVD from my boyfriend. He knows I love cheesy 90’s movies, and Dream a Little Dream is one of my favorites. I had mentioned it in passing and he remembered it and even though it was probably the cheapest gift, it was still the best.

The worst was not a gift really, more like where I ended up eating on Valentine’s Day, and that would be Steak-n-Shake. Although I love the place, it is not exactly where I want to spend my Valentine’s Day at. However, I never said I didn’t like the outing, because frankly I was amazed I went anywhere at all.

If I was a greeting card company I would pick a specific phase of a relationship and promote that phase throughout the week of Valentine’s Day. (Ex. First love)

As far as the florist and the chocolate manufacturer I think they should join forces and offer the ultimate gift combination and possibly have proceeds to go to a charity that involved the heart.

I agree with lousy tippers, I am not in the business of getting tipped anymore but I think if you can’t tip do not go to places where it is expected to do so. Stay home or go get fast food.

I think it is possible to do social media without a background in public relations but to learn how to be most effective in serving companies social media outputs it is good to have some public relations background. These skills teach you about social media etiquette, legal matters, and how to garner publicity towards a positive reputation.  I think that companies that tried to save a buck or two by hiring someone not qualified to interact with their social media they are doing themselves no favors at all. So the bottom line is if your company is going to participate in social media find a professional social media person to fill the position even if it will cost a little more, in the end it is well worth it.

I probably have more pet peeves than I will list here but these few are real high up on my list.

1. Slow drivers that are determined to drive in the left lane on the bypass, interstate, etc. The left lane is for those drivers (me) that break the speed limit law and want to be out in front. The RIGHT lane is for those that like to drive the speed limit or slower.  It just irritates that I am usually passing people on the right instead of the left because people did not read their how’s my driving manual very well.

2. Blinkers. My argument here is when you go buy a new car, and it is listing all it has to offer you NEVER see where blinkers are an accessory on them. This means you do not have an option to use them when turning, using blinkers will decrease the number of  accidents on road ways everyday.  This is my little PSA on the use of blinkers.

3. When people try to make others feel dumb because they are insecure. EVERYONE is smart in their own way and some are smarter than they let on. So if you have this trait it is just not something that can be called a valuable one, so lose it.
